Having done considerable research on my Armstrong line I am wanting to find out a little more about Elizabeth Shepherd Armstrong my Grandmothers aunt, after whom she was named (Elizabeth Walsh Armstrong),
Elizabeth Shepherd armstrong married Robert Walsh at St Peters Church Tynmouth on august 16 1877, on the marriage certificate it says he lives in a Military community, his father being Jonathon Walsh officer and JP. at Tynemouth. Robert died the following year 1877 and Elizabeth returned to her family in Cumberland where I have found her living with them in the various census. what I want to find out is more information on the Military community? and more on the Walsh family. If anyone is able to help,
