Mary Brethwait (Braithwaite)

Mary Braithwait ( Brethwait) was born about 1851 to parents Sarah Foster and William Brethwait, in Bingham Nottinghamshire. She married James Wood and he died a couple years later in Bingham Notts. I have found her living with her Mother after that up to the 1881 census when her Mother Sarah was living alone and she died the same year in the work house. I have tried to find another marriage , or a death for Mary Jane with no success, and she has been my brick wall for some time now, any help would be much appreciated. Mary jane had 2 brothers Henry and Richard both of which I have been able to trace through the years. thank you in advance, Jan

You say James Wood died specifically in Bingham? I can only find one death for a James Wood in Bingham on freebmd - June quarter 1861. If Mary was born abt 1851, the dates don't add up.

Hi sorry it shouldve been James wood born 1848 Basford Notts, married 1867 and he died 1870 in Basford Notts.
Then Mary jane lived with her Mum but disappeared.
