Harrowing and Heartbreaking

Hi, I just wanted to say that I found Jerry Springer's episode incredibly compelling but extremely harrowing at the same time. I can't begin to imagine what it must have felt for Jerry or, for that matter, his ancestors who went through such terrible times.

A fantastic piece of film. Thank you.

I totally agree. Jerry found the whole process massively cathartic and was really keen to get involved when we covered his story in the magazine (a sure way to make people popular with me). I think it was one of the best WDYTYA? episodes because he engaged so much in the process. For something lighter though, have a look at Jerry's 'bonus footage' on this website in the 'About the series' section.

thanks Sarah - it's great that he seems to have got so much out of doing the programme.

I find it amusing when people's surnames happen to match their careers both in historical records and also in the modern day.
