I previously commented on the programme through sfran10536 my sons P.C.
I would add that my mother has been telling me for many years that her grandfather Daniel Price was murdered in a street fight in Llanelly and years later her mother pointed out the person who killed him as he still walked the streets of Llanelly.

Regards the birthdates of William Thomas Jane and Louisa the letter Griff's mother recieved from Williams family in America gave his birth as 06/07/1883 and gave his middle name as Robert.
The 1891 census that Griff was looking at during his train journey gave the Family living in Garston
and appeared to show their ages as Daniel 32, Sarah 32, William 7, Jane 5, Thomas 3 and Louisa 0.

pettit, I am afraid I do not know when Jane married George Thomas and as, according to the 1891 census jane was 5 in 1891 then she could not be 6 in the 1901 census. It is possible that jane was better known as Ellen as my mother knew her as Nelly. It is possible that Sarah Louisa came originally from Bangor but we have no knowledge of this.
